The level of stupidity in America is sad.

The news showed a story about Ukrainaian school children hiding in a building that had the words "children" written in large letters on both sides of the building.

I asked a couple of young guys at the gym a hypothetical question. I asked them if you were hiding children from the enemy how would you do it? They paused and looked confused, then I continued. Would you write the words "children" on the building where you were hiding the children to protect them from the enemy? Obviously, no. You wouldn't want the enemy to know where the children were hiding. You would hide the children in a place where the enemy doesn't know where they are hiding. Least of all options, you wouldn't write the word children in the enemy's language where the children are hidden. It would be stupid! It is stupid!

The story is appealing to the emotional connection of sympathy for dying children. It is attempting to get the viewer emotionally involved with the story. To enrage the viewer, and to feel disdain towards the enemy (Putin) because these emotions will have an effect, a real life effect on the lives of the enemy. The story appeals to God. God is supposed to be a benevolent, good, all powerful being who can be persuaded, apparently, by the masses. A collective consciousness, as one of my Cal Poly Professors put it. The collective consciousness can influence God. The collective consciousness can effect the existential world. Particularly, the people and the people's minds within this world can be affected and effected by the thoughts of a large group of human beings. This is the appeal of Christianity as a whole. Christianity is a moral religion. Which means it teaches right and wrong, and this news story is appealing to these moralities. "Look, at how bad the enemy is, they kill children. They KNOWINGLY kill children." "Why would Putin bomb a building where the word children in Russian is written around it? Because Putin is evil and he isn't godlike. He is going to hell!"

There is also an appeal to Providence. Putin kills children that's why America will win the war against Russia.

The news story is creating a perspective for the viewer. It gives them all of the information they need to come to the conclusion: Putin and Russia are evil. At this point the viewer doesn't want to stop the war, they want to kill the enemy! They want Putin to "pay for his crimes against humanity." This story is morally justifying WW3.

My perspective on Ukraine

They aren't a huge factor in world politics. Whether they are European or Russian doesn't change much in my life or Americans' lives. They were once a part of the Soviet Union, and them being Russian doesn't change anything significantly. It isn't worth fighting a nuclear war. Russia believes they have a stake in Ukraine, and they should. They are the only barrier between Russia and Europe. Russia also has an ancient claim to the land.

Here is a hypothetical scenario. I have always heard talks of Texas breaking away from the union, and imagine if this were to occur. Texas breaks away from the union, and a civil war happens between the rest of the US and Texas. As a result Texas calls on Russia to save them from the US. Russia sends weapons and ammunition, and assists Texas in their attempt to secede from the union. This would be outrageous from an American's standpoint. Americans would tell Russia to mind their business.

I don't think Ukraine is worth it for the United States to risk the lives of Americans and to risk the lives of other people around the world. WW3 could potentially occur, and I don't think it is worth the sacrifice. Americans should stay out of Europe and Russia. Ukraine knows exactly what they are doing. There is big money involved. It seems like this is about freedom and democracy, but it's always about economics. It is always about money.

What does the western world gain from Ukraine joining NATO? It makes Russia look weak to the rest of the world. It reinforces the idea of Providence. Ukraine joining NATO puts Europe right next door to Russia, potentially an army, missiles, nukes, etc. feet away from Russian soil. That is all I have the energy for today.

People are capitalizing from paranoia. They are selling the cure that is not really a cure. It's like a cure for a psycho somatic symptom. It's like a placebo for paranoia. VPN's are like a placebo for paranoia.
