As the fire falls from the sky,

Scolding blood, changing time,

I'm left with a new dilemma

Way beyond the burning sky.

My newborn son and loving wife

Cannot endure the atrophy

Of the Verdure, the decay in values,

Or The murders.

The only value left is from a thousand thefts.

Within my small family is life expressed.

Am I christ or just the last one left?

I'm afraid to die from my neglect.

Before the outbreak they provided checks,

and really it was too little too late.

They burned the city one last time before the final earth quake.

When the earth shook that night I wasn't scared.

We know the aphorism of love and war but no one's prepared.

There were people all around when I screamed out loud.

All I heard were the voices in the clouds.

And the heads did roll, they'd burn this scroll,

If I told you all the things I know.

But you'd never believe me, so what's the point?

You'd roll me up and smoke me like a God damned joint.
